Company History
Paragryn started in 2015 when attorney David Perlick of Boulder, Colorado finally got fed-up with redundant data entry.

As an estate attorney, David understood the drudgery and inefficiency of entering redundant data into repeat-use documents.
Therefore, David searched and searched for a way to automate this process to optimize the productivity of document preparation at his law firm.
What he found was products that could only populate a document once, but if you needed to change things later, you are no longer connected to the data.
Those tools all missed the mark because the data that is being inputted is often changing and needs to be replaced in real-time with the current values. (You're in the midst of working in your documents and the inputs change based on new specs. You make a mistake and need to correct previously populated values. The client changes their mind, etc.)
The unidirectional, one-time merge of information that was available in existing software did not solve the problem. With those tools, you are still doing the same error-prone and inefficient find and replace tasks for every element that needs modifying or replacing in future or edited versions of the document.
The solution that was needed was the ability to easily insert and update fields in commonly used documents with NEW data that replaces the old data at any time across single or multiple documents.
Since there was nothing available in the marketplace, David decided to develop this much needed Microsoft Word document productivity tool for his own firm, and the Paragryn document automation system was born.
After creating all the core requirements for the Paragryn system, David was lucky enough to find a superb developer with a can-do attitude and a brilliant mind. They took on the challenge which many others would have shied away from and turned David’s idea into the Paragryn Desktop Application and MS Word Add-in.
The prototype of Paragryn was finished in 2016, and after refining the functionality and user-interface with beta-testers, the first production version of Paragryn was released to the public in 2018.
The Paragryn MS Word document productivity application and Add-in is used daily in law firms and other industries as a mission critical, core product, which enables users to escape the dismal doldrums of document preparation.
